The Love Grows Program, inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio is a nonprofit organization committed to providing free access to quality preschool education through it’s scholarships for children ages 3-5. Students of LGP will attend The Growing Room Preschool in Oakley.

Our Vision
Through its scholarship program, The Love Grows Program aims to make the Growing Room Preschool model more accessible through a tuition-free school for children ages 3-5. Focusing on children’s academic, social, and emotional needs, The Growing Room and The Love Grows Program, inc. provide a quality ,licensed education, in an inclusive, safe environment. Additionally, a resource pantry and family support services are available for every family we serve. We are committed to fostering a love of learning and a community of support.
The Growing Room Preschool has been a staple of Early Childhood Education in Cincinnati for over 20 years. The Love Grows Program aims to offer an extension of this model and community with its scholarship program. Quality early childhood education should be a basic right for every child. In order to support that effort, The Growing Room beginning in August 2021, will be starting a free, nonprofit preschool. Through The Love Grows Program, inc.’s scholarships, we aim to offer a beautiful child-centered atmosphere with a focus on play. The Growing Room Preschool does not just focus on academics but the whole child and the whole family. The Love Grows Program is committed to providing equitable early childhood education to its community of families. We are excited to have more families join our TGR family and feel blessed and lucky to be a small part of their lives.
For over 20 years, we have sang the song “Love Grows.” The bridge goes something like,
If the past year has taught us anything, it is that the world needs more love. We know that our ability to provide love is through our school and we want to share that experience with everyone.
How to get involved!
The Love Grows Program will rely on word of mouth, volunteers, donations in kind, tuition add-ons, fundraisers, scholarships, pledges and grants. The Love Grows Program, inc. is a 501(c)3 Organization and all monetary contributions will be tax deductible.

Welcome to the Love Grows Program!
In 1999, I opened the first Growing Room Preschool with 5 students, including my daughter, in a one room school in Madeira. Through the years our Growing Room family has grown to 4 locations in the Cincinnati area and we have worked with thousands of families and preschoolers.
The Growing Room’s philosophy of “Love Grows!” Not only is this our theme song at The Growing Room, but it is our core value. You must give love to get love… Love for yourself, love for your environment, and love for each other. I am thrilled to let “Love Grow” in a way that is bigger than anything we have done before. Enter: The Love Grows Program. We believe quality early childhood education is a basic human right. Every child deserves a preschool experience where they feel validated, supported, and challenged.
I have been asked many times why I want to start a tuition free preschool that is connected to The Growing Room. My daughter is a school social worker and we have brainstormed what a nonprofit preschool would look like for the past 6 years.
WE… as individuals, as a team, as a business need to do more. We need to think more like a community and a family. If you know me, you know that I believe, whole heartedly, that the world will show you the way if you pay attention. I feel that in the year 2020, more than ever before, the world was telling me to do more and to be better.
As my team and I began this journey of expanding The Growing Room in the 2021-22 school, I felt honored to have others join me in making this dream a reality. Together with dedicated professionals, educators and family support we have established the Love Grows Program’s scholarship foundation and made plans for our inaugural year! In September 2021, we welcomed students of the Love Grows Program into the The Growing Room family and I am excited to continue our mission of growing empathic leaders through quality connection based early childhood education in an even bigger way!
